BPIA Leadership Advisory, Corporate, and Diplomatic Councils

BPIA Advisory Councils consists of leaders in the international affairs field who have displayed a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts in increasing the involvement of African Americans and those of African descent in international affairs. The Council represents leaders with a record of high-impact work, particularly in areas relating to policy, social, and financial impact. Primary aspects of serving on the BPIA Advisory, Corporate, or Diplomatic Council include: 

  • Flexible Service Model: “You tell us” how you can and would like to contribute to support BPIA’s missions and programs. A large majority of nominees are affiliated with organizations actively engaging with BPIA on existing programming. 

  • Ability to represent in an official organizational capacity and/or a personal capacity for a one-year term. 

  • BPIA Council of Advisors are invited to attend two quarterly virtual meetings in the Spring and Fall and are invited to all BPIA programs and events. 

  • BPIA Council of Advisors provides guidance and expertise regarding organizational and industry matters.

  • Name, Bio, and Affiliation listed on the BPIA website. 

  • Advisors would commit to becoming BPIA members, at the sustaining level.
