The International Monetary Fund released its 2019 Regional Economic Outlook Report for Sub-Saharan Africa on October 18th in conjunction with its 2019 Annual Meetings that took place this year in Washington, DC.

The Forum, co-sponsored by BPIA and the U.S. African Development Foundation (USADF), will examine the Report's key findings and their implications from three unique perspectives. The African Department of the IMF will provide the lead speaker who will present the Report’s key findings and participate in the discussions. This year’s panelists will consist of three distinguished Africa experts, Mr. C.D. Glin, President and CEO of USADF, Ms. Alicia icia Robinson-Morgan, Managing Director for Africa, Department of Compact Operations, Millennium Challenge Corporation and Prof. Landry Signé, David M. Rubenstein Fellow, Global Economy and Development Program, Africa Growth Initiative, The Brookings Institution. Following the discussion between the panelists, there will be an opportunity for the audience to ask questions. Light refreshments will be served.
