Engagement with Major World Convenings

Black Professionals in International Affairs (BPIA) is committed to ensuring Black voices are represented and influential in the global policy arena. Through strategic participation in major international convenings—including the World Economic Forum, United Nations General Assembly Week, IMF/World Bank Spring and Annual Meetings, and African Union Summits—BPIA members engage directly with world leaders, institutions, and critical conversations shaping our global future.

Our presence at these high-level gatherings enables us to:

  • Amplify Black leadership and perspectives in international affairs, development, finance, and diplomacy.

  • Foster partnerships and opportunities that advance Black professionals’ access and influence within multilateral spaces.

  • Host curated events and delegations that spotlight emerging issues, celebrate African diaspora contributions, and promote inclusive global engagement.

From private roundtables to public forums, BPIA leverages these platforms to build coalitions, elevate our members, and ensure Black talent is at the table—and in the room—where decisions are made.
