BPIA Presents 'Off the Record': A 2023 Leadership Speaker Series

Join us this October for a member-exclusive virtual leadership speaker series to connect and learn from industry leaders.

Titilayo Obiri is a trade compliance professional currently working as a Customs & Trade Analyst at Nike’s European Logistics Campus in Belgium. Her journey in trade began when she earned her master's degree in international trade law and economics from the World Trade Institute in Bern, Switzerland. After an internship with the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative, Titilayo moved to Belgium and worked in EU public affairs, covering multiple policy areas for industry associations. After lobbying on behalf of companies on international trade and market access issues, Titilayo decided to make the jump from trade policy to trade compliance. She first worked in-house for a company and then worked as a trade compliance consultant, supporting companies with their customs operations as well as providing guidance on how to implement trade regulations. In her current role at Nike, Titilayo feels energized by collaborating with colleagues and being able to apply her knowledge and experience to help tackle challenges the company faces when it comes to customs compliance.
